HOW DO I SUBMIT AS AN ARTIST OR VENDOR FOR CONSIDERATION?

WHAT DOES THIS COST ME?

Artist are asked to contribute $30-$40 depending on size for each piece they are submitting for the entire length of the Art Show. 

(Contribution helps to cover the cost of rent and all else)

WHAT ARE THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES?

A. All Artists are welcome to submit a:

-minimum of 3 pieces

-maximum 8 pieces

B. Every art piece can be up to maximum 36”x36”

  1. Everything over is $10 extra

  2. All art work exceeding 48”x 48” are not permitted unless pre approved

DOES CRE8 TAKE A PERCENTAGE?

Yes, CRE8 takes 30% commission of all Art work sold.

Buyers will be able to conveniently pay for all art work through our SQUARE payment system.

DO ARTISTS HAVE TO BE THERE FOR THE ENTIRE EVENT?

Not necessarily, however it is strongly recommended. Artists are exposing their work and getting a real chance to be seen. It is in every artists best interest to engage with the audience and working to gain more interest for themselves. If for any reason artists are not able to make one of the days, or need to leave early or show up late, we ask that all art pieces have a label with artists name and contact info, title of piece, and price on them. This way, interested buyers can get in touch.

DOES THE ARTWORK NEED TO BE LABELED?

Yes! All artists are responsible to create labels with:

A. Artist’s name

B. Artist’s contact information (phone/email)

C. Name of art piece

D. Price

Labels have to be the size of a business card (3.5” x 2”)

HOW DOES DROP-OFF WORK?

A. All artists are asked to arrive during the listed hours with all art pieces, payment (cash or credit), and with filled out liability form. We will check in everyone and carefully store all paintings

B. Each art piece has to be ready to hang (Wiring across the back is preferred) 

Please note if art work does not have a way for us to hang it, we will not accept it. 

C. Artists information needs to be on the back of each art work

8.

HOW DO SALES WORK?

Buyers have the advantage of taking home all art pieces they bought that day. If artist has another similar size piece they are welcome to replace it for the remaining time of the exhibit, NO EXTRA CHARGE.

HOW DOES PICK-UP WORK?

Artists are not permitted to take unsold work off the walls during the show. However all remaining pieces have to be taken home the same day after the art exhibit wraps.

PLEASE NOTE: CRE8 IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ART PIECES LEFT BEHIND!!!

WHY IS THE SHOW 21 AND OVER?

Due to the sale of alcohol as well as content such as live nudity, possible controversial subject matter and freedom of expression. (If submitting artist is under 21, they may still submit their art work, however, they will not be able to attend the show. If there is someone, a guardian or manager, artist is allowed to send them in their place, which we suggest)

AS A PARTICIPATING ARTIST/VENDOR DO I ENTER THE SHOW FOR FREE?

Yes, accepted artists get free entry. However, any “plus ones” will need to purchase tickets either from Eventbrite, at the door, or directly from us during art drop-off hours.

I'M A BAND/DJ! HOW DO I SUBMIT TO PLAY AT YOUR SHOW?

Please submit links to examples of your sound and look to CRE8ing.worlds@gmail.com

I AM A BODY PAINTER AND/OR LIVE PAINTER! HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

Please submit jpegs or links to your work to CRE8ing.worlds@gmail.com

I WOULD LIKE TO BE A MODEL FOR BODY PAINTER, HOW CAN I SUBMIT?

Please submit body length or ¾ length jpegs of yourself (NO NUDES) to CRE8ing.worlds@gmail.com

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE MY TICKET?

A. Eventbrite (search “CRE8 POP UP GALLERY”)

B. Tickets can also be bought at the door as long as we’re not at capacity for the venue space.

You can either print your ticket or have it on your mobile device to be scanned.

HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?

A. General Admission $20

B. Pre-Sale $15

C. Tickets bought at the door $20

  • Available as long as we’re not at capacity for the venue space

D. VIP TICKET $40

  • Includes front of the line access

  • A glass of champagne

  • 1 Poster from a local artist

  • 1 alcohol drink Ticket

  • Entry fee to event

17.

WILL THE EVENT BE FILMED?

YES! CRE8 is built by artists for artists. We know how much work goes into one event and how fast an exhibit wraps up, giving the artists only a few days to be showcased to the limited amount of people who attend the event. Our goal is to find untapped ways to offer artists broader opportunities to be seen and expose their talent to the world at large. CRE8 is teaming up with a professional film crew to tape the entire event. The Docu Series is scheduled to be released as soon as it is up to standard in order to provide artists to showcase their talent and expose them in their best light for the world to see. You will need to sign a Photo&Film Release Form
