Art Statement:
'Pieces' are fractured parts taken from traditional and modern South Korean and North Korean culture. There is a lot of imbalance not just within Korea but throughout the world today. Bringing together these elements of traditional and modern, eastern and western, my hope is to bring a more positive view on the union across cultures and time. Not to judge one another on our differences or where one looks like they may originate from. Now is the time to come together.
